@fluffy yeah in retrospect i should have figured it out at some point just based on being a japanese game, but my core memory of OoT crystallized some time in middle school so it never occurred to me to question it
@jepyang yeah I"d never actually really thought about it and assumed it was like "fa-roar" like most English speakers do. I haven't played the remake yet (and don't have a Switch 2 to play it on) but seeing people flip out over this led me to look stuff up.
Funnily enough the top result I found was a video from 9 months ago from someone making a claim it would be "fa-RO-ree" and that it's based on the syllable count of the three goddesses.
