For those of you who think Apple is "better" on privacy, I present this.
Like every other tech company, this data will eventually be monetized to meet the all-important goal of eternal growth.

@chris I suppose few things in life are ever this simple, but can this be defeated by running a shell script on startup that stops those daemons?
@SteveFoerster Good question. I wonder the consequences of doing so would be these days.
@chris Ooooh, not good. I kept shaking my head as I read each paragraph. The example of child daycare was especially troubling.
"Whatever you would rather no one knew about you or your family may well be in there somewhere, and we think you have the right to know whether it is.
What you get instead: no documentation, no way to inspect the store and no general way to correct an inference that is wrong."
I read their second writeup. Equally troubling.

I DO resent Apple hiding and controlling so much.
