Imagine if skeletons were brightly illuminated but just lose their shine as they come into contact with air. Probably why they show up so well on xrays. We're all walking about with internal high-beams on and we don't even know it. Wait is that why I always hear that fizzing sound?
@TheBreadmonkey
I'm sure the fizzing or fitzing(?) sound I hear is the flaky bulb at the entrance to the forbidden tunnels between the layers of grey matter inside my lumpy hemispherical head bone.
@TheBreadmonkey what funny juice are you on??
IT'S CALLED LIFE FARAH YOU SHOULD TRY IT SOMETIME
only joking I've had too much coffee again ❤️
@TheBreadmonkey
X-ray images are negatives: they show white where the X~rays are absorbed.
Your skeleton is BLACK and light falls into it.
@ThreeSigma @TheBreadmonkey I've never broken a bone but I'm old enough that when I requested my medical records I got my teeth x-rays, so I cyanotyped them and wow you can see the x-rays shining through my teeth
This is what your dinner sees when it's trying to escape
@TheBreadmonkey @ThreeSigma Wasn't there some horrid trend a while back of like... view from inside the mouth of the world? Back when we had the tiny 888 cameras? Did I hallucinate that time of the internet??
I am unfamiliar with this
@TheBreadmonkey
'Oh, outside bones! Outside bones!
Never forget your teeth are outside bones.
They're bones that you wash,
And when you're a kid, they fall from your head,
And to make things less weird,
We say they got stolen by a demon that your parents knooow.'
@TheBreadmonkey This is probably why all my muscles feel slow-cooked.
No, no - that fizzing sound is that other horrible thing.
@TheBreadmonkey so maybe my tinnitus is a faulty skeleton bulb?
One of the potential side effects of certain antibiotics that are commonly prescribed for acne is that they can turn bones green
@TheBreadmonkey This reminds me of a story I wrote. 🙂 https://photovotary.mataroa.blog/blog/i-stayed-at-the-haunted-carnival-too-long/
