what is a good domain registrar that won't decide to randomly suspend my domains demanding i submit my passport scan?
because if namecheap does that to me i am suing the everloving fuck out of them

@ariadne I've given up giving registration recommendations. Because every time I do, the registrar goes out of business or completes their villain arc or something.
to be clear it is not the ID verification that I care about, it is the risk of downtime
@ariadne Last year I moved all my domains from namecheap to https://porkbun.com/
@cloudhop they also have uhh, began engaging in that practice

@ariadne I suspect Porkbun w/ Yubikey won’t because that should be enough 2FA, and I hear MythicBeasts still provide personal service, which would also likely work, but I can’t prove it… I’ve had Porkbun for a few years and they never gave me issues. Also played around with Mythic, also no issues, but haven’t been paying a ton of attention either. Good luck on the lawsuit, companies need to accept some responsibilities for services offered.
