"🚨 MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT – BUCK HILL ROAD

At approximately 9:42 PM, Thompson Fire Engine Co. responded as part of an automatic mutual aid assignment to assist East Thompson Fire Department (Station 85) with a reported motor vehicle accident involving an electric vehicle and a utility pole in the area of 47 Buck Hill Road.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel encountered a Tesla Cybertruck that had left the roadway and sustained significant damage, including a detached wheel assembly.
Incidents involving utility poles present additional hazards to emergency responders, including the potential for energized electrical equipment and compromised overhead utility lines.
⚠️ SAFETY REMINDER: Never approach downed or damaged utility lines. Always assume electrical lines are energized and maintain a safe distance until utility personnel have confirmed the area is safe."
