there are people that are concerned about "haitian national sovereignty" when another country, that was adversely affected by haitian gang violence leaking out of haiti, did something about the gangs overnight while apparently the haitian government could not? this seems to imply that haiti's gangs were the sovereign

@ageha from what I understand haitian gangs murdered some salvadoran nationals (like civilian pilots or something) and bukele now is erasing the gangs, capturing and arresting their heads, very quickly trhough military action. which is interestng because it's demolished the "mystique" of haitian gangs as unstoppable "cool" force.
@sun @ageha There were 4 Salvadoran air force guys in a humanitarian mission in Haiti, flying rescue and logistics planes for the international mission. Haitian gangs kidnapped them, Bukele gave them an ultimatum to release the captives and go their own ways with no repercussions, the gangs being the retarded niggers that they are instead filmed themselves threatening the Salvadoran forces.
Bukele ordered 2000 servicemen to go to Haiti and start gigamurdering crime niggers until the captives are recovered, sparing only the leaders that they want to capture and those that turn themselves in. As expected, because gangs are coddled by law enforcement and know no real combat, they got completely bulldozed with several gangs no longer existing after a week, and there's probably a few hundred dead by now. I don't think the Salvadoran forces have any losses yet. Haitian civilians celebrate them as liberators.
To the surprise of no one, Haiti is easily solvable with rifles.

@ageha it is superficially similar to trump threatening mexican cartels or invading venezuela but the difference seems to be that: haitian gangs actually did start this and are doing something directly bad that had to get the el salvadoran government involved; bukele actually did it not just bluster (like trump against cartels); succeeding (unlike trump and iran); a lot of people in haiti are cheering this on because the gangs are bad and people hate them
@ageha this is all subject to the disclaimer that I'm getting all this information from a few sources that could be completely biased.
is this like a us-in-mexico "doing something about the gangs" situation?
