After 3.5 years, #PeerSky v1.0.0 is finally here 🎉
Create information. Share it directly with peers. Access it anywhere. Even when the internet goes down.
All power corrupts. Power should be distributed. PeerSky is more than a browser; it's a new foundation for the web. That's how we save the internet and build better societies, one peer at a time.

PeerSky started in April 2023, before "vibe coding" was even a term. It has over 1,700 commits from more than a dozen contributors, built on years of open work like Hypercore, Agregore, Electron, and many more. More importantly, it's built on community feedback from real people using it every day.

@peersky @jlink @greytheearthling @cybervegan That's worse if anything. You had a clean ethical project and have ruined it for many of us who can't understand how anyone can try to justify contributing to massive widespread harms.
I was a potential, if unlikely (for various reasons) contributor, now it's never going to happen. And nor will I promote your project.
@peersky Good idea. Sadly it’s slop.
