@aeva @catmisgivings thanks for your feedback. you're basically the one other person i've found who has ever said "we should be ignoring LLMs as much as possible" and when you introduce nuance to that i listen to you
@hipsterelectron @catmisgivings it's hard. in David's case the LLMs are a direct tangible assault on his livelihood because his art ended up getting ranked as high value in the training sets and now people associate his style with slop. it's a hard position to be in because he spent literal decades developing it. developing a new style would also take a long time and without a real solution to the underlying problem the same thing would happen again

@aeva @catmisgivings i like a lot how @prahou describes his style as explicitly anti-corporate and it is exactly how i have looked to design my software after having my shit stolen without credit and sold to openai and specifically done wrong to enable google backdoors of python packaging
