One more I-638 thought: now is a time to reflect, to mourn, to get angry, but above all else, now is a time to **act**. If you know of any reputable groups taking this violence on in court or with a new initiative, please drop a link in replies.
Gender Justice League has a really good blog post about how I-638 happened (spoiler: companies that used to donate didn't, leaving a spending gap compared to Let's Go Washington, Heywood's weird cult/PAC thing).
They also have a lot of good resources about how to give them money and how to volunteer. They accept money directly, employer matching, and donor advised funds.

As I said, this is a time to act.
If you donate to the Gender Justice League this weekend and share a screenshot here, @crazy4pi314 and I will match your donation, up to a cap of $1,000.
If you can do so, please also get your employer to match your donation.
Please give, boost, and just in general stand up to protect kids in Washington state.
Got a screenshot via DMs for a $25 donation. That's enough for Gender Justice League to get a lawyer in the room with people.
Thank you so much, this really matters!
Got another DM, this time for $75. We can do this folks, we can make a difference. ♥
Our local NPR affiliate is reporting that the Gender Justice League is on it.

Though I'm less familiar with them, the No Hate in WA State advocacy group put together a list of groups that they recommend donating to in the fight against I-638.
