@jenniferplusplus @munin if I was a thief, I would absolutely steal a truckload of NVIDIA hardware. And then I'd use it for scientific computing because that's what being gay and doing crime is ACTUALLY about.
@aud @munin Except that anyone who has the operational capability to actually power these up already has more of them than they can use.
Like, maybe there's a market for them in cryptomines, but then I would have guessed that the price of electricity is too high and the price of bitcoin is too low to make even nearly free GPUs that attractive right now

I wouldn't have thought there would be. Part of me wonders if this is actually insurance fraud
