Hi everyone!
We're celebrating 23 years of bringing creative freedom and open-source art exploration to a diverse community around the world!
If you could make ONE birthday wish for Inkscape, what would that be? A stronger community? Something unexpected? Or simply more years of creative freedom?
Share your wish down below, or share this post and introduce a friend to #Inkscape!
@jwildeboer @inkscape good news: CMYK support is already in the works! It couldn't land for 1.5, but it's coming along, so only a matter of time and continued support 🙏🏻
@inkscape Yes, I still dream of a complete pipeline from thought to t-shirt, flyer, book cover, posters and SVG based animated ads on giant LED displays — all created with Inkscape and Open Standards ;) Printed on Open Hardware offset machines. Displayed on Open Source, Open Hardware LED screens. Open Everywhere! :)
@jwildeboer don't forget laser cutters, milling machines, plotters
@inkscape Print preflight and rasterising perfectly integrated from design to colour calibration, CMYK and spot color separation to print and display.
