1. I can't connect to the internet because the DNS server of this hotspot is fucked
2. I can't write /etc/hosts to put the right IP locally because it's manages by NixOS
3. I can't rebuild my NixOS config because I don't have internet
Sometimes I REALLY want to set this distro on fire
@famfo Frustrating. I usually end up
doas mv /etc/hosts /etc/hosts.nix; doas cp -L /etc/hosts.nix /etc/hosts; doas chmod u+w /etc/hosts, and then editing it anyway.(I should really make a shell function that does all this... I keep bringing it back from shell history...)
