Ugh, lad my husband called to do some pressure washing for us had to (a) borrow our hose and (b) beg a bobby pin (which I wasn't even sure I had) to clear something from the nozzle of his sprayer.
Not auspicious.
@ai6yr I have no idea what to do about this if flipping the breakers doesn't reset it.
@Archergal GFCI somewhere, I suspect. Have to hit "reset" on every single one you have until it comes back. Sounds like he triggered a ground fault.
@ai6yr @Archergal A GFCI is a button you can hit to reset a circuit, it is typically located on the outlet panel. There are probably only a few external power outlets, hopefully it’s not too painful
@hutterer @Archergal Yeah, it's mostly figuring out which one got tripped by water into the outlet (and hoping its dried out enough to not keep triggering).
@hutterer @Archergal Pro tip: do not spray water into plugs, run your pressure washer while standing in a puddle of water with an electric cord... spray random electrical things, lol.
And now something he’s done had taken out electricity to part of the house
