@lightweight 😀 John Campbell is a great interviewer. It’s been marvellous having him on Morning Report.
@joncounts @lightweight he is a great person to be interviewed by too - it's very freaky being on a live tv set, but he somehow could make it a comfortable and relaxing experience.
@stephen @joncounts heh - he strikes me as the enthusiastic golden retriever pup of interviewers. Maybe a taler retriever (they tend to be smarter 😊 ).
@joncounts I love the way he interviews kids. His energy is effusive, and entirely benevolent.
@joncounts that effusiveness can be slightly wearing in other contexts... but overall, I think he's great.
JC: "Do you really love language and words"?
B: "...I do... but not in a weird way."
JC: "Is there a weird way to love words? I don't think so. I think you can love words in any way without it being 'weird'."
B: ".. yeah... I guess so."
