#Sync is now on #Linux! If you're looking for a pretty good and not-too-evil (AFAIK) cloud storage service IMHO Sync is worth a look. They're Canadian and privately owned and so far I've been happy with them. I haven't tried their Linux products but their Windows and Mac products have worked well for me and customer service has been excellent whenever problems arise. For your consideration! 🇨🇦 👍 😁 #Tech #Canada #DeGoogle https://www.sync.com/blog/introducing-sync-for-linux-your-files-your-tools

@alisynthesis Nothing wrong with the old fashioned way if it works! But I'm sometimes stuck in the office after hours and I love being able to access my most recent music files and fire up Reaper and maybe make some progress on THIS ONE SONG that I've been working on for about 3 years now. I may not be prolific, but I'd be utterly stagnant without it!
@7sleepersmusic I actually do have online access to all my files anyway via my NAS, so that's sorted!
I use the good ol' 3 backups, one off-site method. It's just that the off-site ones are, like, 3 months apart at this point because I am apparently the world's laziest human.
@7sleepersmusic that's some pretty reasonable pricing, too. Hmm...
I've been doing off-site backups the old-fashioned way (hard drive at my mom's house), but boy, I really don't do it often enough. Maybe I should cave and use a decent cloud service like this...
