why would I ever ask an LLM anything when I can simply ask the fediverse and within less than 24 hours get dozens of conflicting answers and suggestions and personal experiences and vaguely related anecdotes?
and I mean this sincerely. people are so much more INTERESTING than bots.

Dozens of conflicting answers per question figure is a statistical anomaly, the average Mastodon user receives 1 conflicting reply. Replies Steph, who posts a question and receives 10,000 conflicting replies, is an outlier and should not have been counted.
@astronomerritt and bots need to be actually prompted in order to produce an answer, while here one can receive as much unsolicited advice as one can tolerate and then some
