it occurs to me that if an effect of genAI is the production of lots of very similar boilerplate, it may become highly beneficial to package applications using delta compression
if you reload discord.com and look at devtools, it loads 1960 JS/CSS files totaling 29 MB
but also if you are making client side applications you should just have "keep the codebase as small as possible" as an explicit goal
