I have to admit, I had expected a little more from #ghost … 🧐 💔

"Please please please PLEASE get hashtags in notes and in posts working – so that they show up in the fediverse.
The whole reason why I was switching to Ghost becomes null and nought if fedizens aren't able to discover my posts. I normally wouldn't write this in such an urgent tone, but people have been reporting this since January 2026, and if it's not fixed there's no really no reason for me to remain on this platform.
(also, fediverse comments aren't showing below my posts)" — "Please please please PLEASE get hashtags in notes and in posts working – so that they show up in the fediverse. @momo well to be honest I'm not really sure.

On the plus side, there's so many things in Ghost as opposed to Wordpress that are really, really cool. It's got far less bloat and "AI" crap, it's faster and much more simple to use.

On the minus side… what good is a beautiful blog when it's not discoverable (or rather, only discoverable with much, much extra effort from me…?)

My sleepy ADHD brain was just jumping on the obvious joke (den Geist aufgeben), that's all!

I absolutely agree that blogging includes at least a bit of self-marketing. And increasing the discoverability with hashtags should be standard...
