@likelyjanlukas oh yeah, it's completely changed over there. I'm a farm kid, I also am a landmark navigator, so I completely get it!
Next time you're up there, on 156 Street there's two really good Mexican restaurants to choose from: El Mero Mero (they also have the taco bus in the summer), and Smokin' Barrels!
@chad I haven't been in the NW for awhile. I know that is true because heading north on 170 st I came VERY close to missing my turn onto 137 ave east because the fields I was expecting to see have ginormous buildings on them.
A lot of my other lifelong landmarks are still there, but they are hidden amongst a lot of bright signage and businesses that are too new for me to recognise easily, lol! 😂
(This is I suppose a downside of tending to be a landmark navigator.)
