I've been playing around with BSD on the desktop lately, just a little.
FreeBSD was easy to install and got KDE working no problem.
OpenBSD I got installed, and KDE, but lots of things didn't work.
NetBSD I can install the base no problem, cannot seem to get KDE working.
Feeling defeated at this point by the state of FOSS in 2926. Not even sure it's worth the effort to leave Mac for Linux.
Also on the FreeBSD forum I said "shit" and got chastised for foul language.
