@mastodonmigration @tusk81 I can think of a few Dems who would be far better than Schumer. But then, I have houseplants that would be better.
@BruceMirken @tusk81 Thing is, they need to want the job, and have the right skill set. The ones who are running for President won't want it (Murphy, Ossoff, Kelly...). Elizabeth Warren could do it, but she may think she is too old. Van Hollen seems to want it and while he is not the most dynamic, he is a solid progressive, seems organized, and very well liked.
@tusk81 Hopefully Van Hollen will challenge Schumer for Majority Leader.
