In 2016, I had dyed white hair with purple streaks for a few months. I got it done very cheaply, at local hairdressing school.

@normjess I actually really appreciate folks who know themselves very well & avoid hard frontlines. It's better to know yourself well & contribute in other ways - there's so many other ways to help out. I had to send more than a couple people home because they're not suitable for hard frontlines work & we don't have capacity/energy to babysit newbies. We can't have anyone who will break down in less than a month of heavy direct actions. It's better that they do other resistance work.

@normjess I understand. I'm on government watch lists & have been for decades. I'm older & stopped giving a fuck because no matter what I do or don't do - the target is never removed from my back. I just can't do hard frontlines at the moment because of my family caregiving responsibilities.
@normjess Cops showed up at our house last year because a wankerbutternoodle(Chad) in Edmonton swatted me. He lied to cops & entire Fediverse about not being involved & a lot of folks here believed him. He told local cops that I was planning to burn their PD to the ground - a total lie. I'm unfortunately used to privileged white guys trying to swat/bully & I don't tolerate it. I told the cops off. They left as fast as they arrived. The swatting failed to shut me up. It worked with making me get even louder.
This was during the time I was obsessed with Storm, from the X-Men Marvel series.
