All you said was “this” so I answered both. You never clarified. The other comments asked for clarification as well. I think there might be a language barrier issue. What is the “this” you are asking about
A quick look at the sidebar and hovering over, one of the moderators of this community appears to be a lemmy.world admin if that’s what you mean.
Considering how big lemmy.world is, I’d guess it’s more a bit of overlap than it being the same people.
What “this” are you referring to? The community? The mod list is on the sidebar. I assume that info federates to piefed.
I feel ya, I am still trying to figure out what an ActivityPub is.
its a protocol.think of it like a contract. when you create software lemmy, piefed, etc you need to follow the same messaging contract as others.
An activitypub is a pub you go to for activities. It’s fairly self-explanatory.
It was all so confusing in the beginning, now it is just confusing sometimes inbetween!
