Am making a good-faith effort to work today but all I want to do is roll around in relief. Let me have just one day of celebration, just one.

@lilithsaintcrow I got *bugger-all* done yesterday evening (other than drinking celebratory port) until quite late at night. I've decided that today can be administrative work -- the sort of thing that isn't harmed by going to refresh some sites for news -- and the creative stuff can again happen after everybody else has gone to bed.
@swan_tower I’ve done some administrivia and a bit of refresher reading for one of the current projects, but I think no more absolutely *needs* to be done and I can take a book to the couch with a couple edibles.
I’m just SO relieved. I was dreading a repeat of ‘24.
...yeah, no, not happening. Just absolutely not gonna happen.
I'm gonna roll around in the relief, maybe down an edible or two, and gird myself for the real work beginning tomorrow.
