@stux I wonder how many Europeans are actually aware that the EU is actually that "party" and even got the US Biden admin to sign up for anti-tax avoidance.
Fun fact: UK Brexit was finalized only about a week before the EU's new tax enforcement went into effect. Of course, is was "really about immigration".
The neonazis running on 'gr8 replacement' rhetoric have international conventions to align rhetoric & strategy, & to kowtow to their financiers (cf Kendi, Chain of Ideas) so why not start aglobal 'brand' for #TaxTheRich to do the same?
Problematic is that most folks who could afford to show up for something like that probably won't 😒
@stux I wish we have some sort of a global government, so that we can adress properly the global issues and do not stuck in this silly nearsighted "geopolitics". But recently I thought that the current models of representative democracy are themselve very flawed and we [the humanity] could figure out some better form of democratic governance.
@stux I've been thinking along these lines today. What if political contributions were limited to no more than you actually pay in taxes? No representation without taxation.
