@ercanbrack i'm not sure what you think I was saying, but I was commenting on getting rid of textbooks that are propaganda.

@ercanbrack right, and as soon as there is some other source of blatant religious propaganda masquerading as textbooks filling the bookshelves of public schools in one of the country's largest states, I'll comment on burning those too.

My comment came after seeing several other similar (but more extreme) posts where the posters seemed to only care about "their people" of "their party", rather than what's best for the diversity of America and what's best for all as a whole. I finally responded.
I think you have the right attitude, and I should apologize. Sorry.

I really hate all of the party fighting. I, myself have views from all over the spectrum, and I like to wishful-think of America as a big melting pot of tolerance--although I know that that is very far from the truth. 🙂

No party -- red or blue -- is innocent in this regard. I'm certainly happy to see that Trump is a lame duck for the next two years, but this country needs what's best for ALL of America, not just some Americans. Party over country is not the best answer. Bipartisan solutions that find what's best for everyone's interests is a much better solution.
