To all the politicians: I am sorry for complaining about the fundraising texts. They worked. I should have been nicer about it.

@evan still, it's like they have no imagination of the possibilities of email. Instead of *only* fundraising, they could inform us and keep us abreast of non-monetary developments in Congress or in their campaigns, or they could try to organize and mobilize people when appropriate. I see a little of that from progressive politicians, but the vast majority of political communication I get is just fundraising.
I don't think they did. GOP spent more. I think advertising has limited impact when people can directly see a reality that is very negative for themselves. gas prices etc.
@evan I don't think we can conclude that. It's actually very possible that they would have won by even more if they didn't piss people off with all those texts.
