OK, we fought hard and we won, but we are not done yet.
If Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries become Majority Leader and House Speaker the will of #WeThePeople will continue to be subverted to corporate interests.
We have come too far to not complete the restoration of our popular democracy and the #RuleOfLaw.
Replacing Schumer and Jeffries with progressive fighters is the battle we must now win lest this victory be squandered. There is nothing more important right now.

The bottom up people can mount a large, widespread, sustainable campaign as there's no one point of failure. They can be persistent due to georgraphic and temporal distribution.
I'll also say the Democrats who learn this, who can lead from behind, who know when to ride the wave and when to lead, will be our next big leaders.

The entire midterm election is a clear example of this. We just need to maintain the momentum.

* Hyperpolitics by Anton Jager.
* Politics Without Politicians by Landemore.
OPTIONAL is "The Unaccountability Machine" by Dan Davies (explains why things are screwed up).
These three books together will do a LOT for understanding the present and building a future.

I think a cornerstone of herding these guys off the center stage is to command the agenda from the bottom up.
All of us in our own way must make it clear where the orders are coming from
