Take a breath, enjoy this day, and then remember: this is just the beachhead. Yesterday was D-Day. Next, we need to march to Berlin.

Now that we've regained Congress, we still have to fight: fight to get Schumer and Jeffries off their asses; fight to force witnesses to appear at Congressional hearings even when DOJ refuses to prosecute; fight to convince voters that we *are* doing good things even though Trump's veto means we won't actually pass any good legislation; fight to win again in 2028.

Yesterday was awesome! Relax today and catch your breath! Then saddle up again, because D-Day itself didn't end fascism. Forward!

@msbellows We have to fight to remove Schumer and Jeffries from leadership. Full stop. That is the most important thing on our agenda now.

@mastodonmigration I want Schumer and Jeffries gone, but I'm not optimistic the vote in January will go that way. But hey, the dead-weight generals Montgomery and DeGaulle remained in place through World War II, and we still won!
