Enlargement is an investment in Europe’s peace, security and prosperity.
Today we've shared our yearly update on countries aspiring to join the EU, proposing indicative roadmaps for the most advanced negotiating countries:

Every enlargement has made the EU stronger. Since 2004, living standards in newer EU countries have doubled, life expectancy increased and millions of new jobs have been created across Europe.
Enlargement to our EU is a good thing, but remember to be fair to all candidates, that's to say, the UK, in case they decide to rejoin, they must take article 49 fully, with no opt-outs.

Montenegro, Albania and Moldova are merely escorts to dillute the crucial importance of bringing Ukraine in, and engaging the whole Union in a war that nobody wants, but weaponry industry tycoons.
We, the normal, poor and grassroots citizens of Europe, want PUBLIC SERVICES, AS EDUCATION, HEALTH AND PROTECTION AGAINST CLIMATIC CATASTROPHES.
Spend the money in that, say we the people that generate wellfare with our work.
Expanding the European Union to include Ukraine would in no way improve peace and security for either Europe or the European Union; on the contrary, it would create a volatile border with the Russian Federation.
It would seem more appropriate for Ukraine to serve as a buffer state between the European Union and the Russian Federation, with as many economic agreements as desired but without dangerous integration into the European Union.
@EUCommission - if you bring Albania in the EU, you give Trump's infuence a direct place at the table and undermine our independence.
