@cwebber One nice thing about being an American living abroad is that you can choose which political events you use the first-person plural for.

"I feel so bad for all of YOU down there. YOU really messed up this time."

vs.

"WE did it! Hooray for all of US."

There's good evidence from exit polling that what made Republicans lose so THOROUGHLY is, amongst other things but especially, AI and datacenters and how universally loathed those things are. This really cost Republicans in rural areas especially.
