There's a 10 minute fight sequence in the film Atomic Blonde where Charlize Theron gets the absolute shit kicked out of her and then has a cold bath, takes a couple of painkillers and is basically fine. I had a little fall a week ago and honestly I can barely move. Once again Hollywood has lied to us. When will they make a realistic film? I vote me for the new James Bond. Just me, avoiding confrontation and eating sandwiches in the dark like a super spy. Where's Ben? Is he in the Kremlin? No he's in the kitchen with the lights off crying into some bread again.

If you haven't seen Atomic Blonde it is well worth a look. David Leitch - ex stuntman turned director, so his films are always a blast.... Deadpool, Bullet Train, John Wick etc. Did the coordination on Matrix and the Bourne films. If you're into people getting pummelled in new and interesting ways, he's your man. And Theron is excellent in it.

@TheBreadmonkey While I totally agree with you, that a savage beat down normally results in hospital time, I celebrate the fact that she actually takes damage. When she shows up in the office after that fight you can actually see her face is messed up. In James Bond movies the combatants trade blows for ten minutes and take no visible damage.
