Um, why is former premier Christy Clark quoted so frequently in this article? Is she the one pulling the strings here?
What's next as the B.C. Conservatives transition from opposition to government?
It’s been nine years since a new party took the reins of government in British Columbia. There are major changes ahead as premier-designate Lorne Doerkson selects his cabinet and key leadership staff.
@fname Buried in this story is a lesson on willful ignorance.
Using the perceived "authority" of a well established voice to establish an ignorance, that will accepted and built on by others.
""I think people should watch for the folks who were most active in question period, the most active in doing public speaking, the ones that have really gained a subject matter expertise," Clark said."
That expertise? The Tyee:
"Only six B.C. Conservative MLAs have three years of experience in the legislature. Only three served prior to 2020. Only one, Teresa Wat, has ever been a cabinet minister. Nearly half of all Conservative MLAs are entirely new to the job."
I expect more from the CBC, a publicly funded broadcaster shouldn't let misinformation pass unchecked.
