A lot of very deserved thanks to Zelensky for blowing up the bot farms, but we also need to thank Brazil for telling the world how to render bots and algorithm abuse null.

@agturcz it's very, very hard to have enough field of view to say how much impact it really had, but empirical evidence says some, and sometimes even a small shift has a big enough psychological impact to drive resistance.

The reporting I have seen has said there is no evidence the attacks impacted social media influence operations.
@hacks4pancakes I have seen some anecdata confirming this impact. But, unfortunately, not much of that to be a significant evidence. Let's hope for the best.

@hacks4pancakes I'm sorry, I did not really track it as much as I should do. There was some debate on fedi about the impact of destroying those Russian datacenters on the activity of troll farms. Some claimed it was, some - it wasn't impactful. Did we reached any consensus about that?
