nothing astounding but
i hand-coded a svg version of the intersex inclusive progress pride flag, as a banner in an aspect ratio suitable for an 88x31 button
it weighs only 850 bytes, or 328 bytes gzipped
that's without aggressive compression: the path instructions are integer-valued, space separated, fairly readable, all the colors use html names not hex codes
9.3k .png here; i'll post a link to the tiny svg when i get my webserver back up tomorrow (whoopsie)
@emily_s @kboyd coming shortly. not much trickery; just 12 short paths and a circle. arranging the viewport to let me use mostly single-digit integer coordinates does most of the work compared to what a vector graphics program would emit
actually this morning i suspected i could cut the size down even more by putting a stripe and a rotated square into defs and cloning them with use href, but i just tried it and it ends up slightly bigger 🤷
@emily_s @kboyd ! mine also overflows its viewbox, i wonder if mine will look bad in your renderer too!
here's my versions:

(once i get haproxy set up the way i want on my personal domain i'll make the page better and edit my original post)
(edit: updated this page with more verbiage)
