Scope of forthcoming u-16 social media ban (from ePetition debate):
- Will capture U2U platforms whose purpose is to enable online interaction and which allow users to post material, alongside having an algorithm.
- Will not be naming platforms directly in the regulations.
- Ofcom will apply the regulations to the social media companies, then determine whether it will produce a list of companies in scope. 1/3
