Waiting for the New York Times' sure-to-come second day headline:
"Analysis: Why the elections were actually bad for the Democrats"
@dangillmor I think there will be and I very much think we will take to the streets (possibly the virtual ones in a work stoppage) if there aren’t.
Very few of us voted for the status quo. Many of us already knew and more realized that not giving dems real power in office was a mistake. We abdicated our power. No more. We want and deserve what America can be.

@dangillmor “Democrats swept congress last night, and here’s why that’s bad news for Joe Biden.”
@dangillmor "Opinion: Young voters prevent the rest of us from thinking of the children."
@dangillmor those people are already in my chat groups 😂
@dangillmor um don't hold your breathe, they will see it is bad for their democrats i.e. the establishment, corporate, Zionist & diet GOP/MAGA types they crave & salivate over as far too many progressive candidates won to their liking.
@dangillmor What will they go with? 🤔
let’s try to predict…
”Divided Dem’s clash over Speaker choice”
“Jeffries fails to bring AOC in line”
“We talk to disappointed voters in a midwest diner…”
The midterm is over, and I just cancelled my NYT online subscription.
The reason : I have concerns about The New York Times's coverage.
I’d been paying $1/month rate for All Access, but I think I am not going to miss the paper. My wife may complain when she finds out she cannot play the Puzzles though.
@dangillmor I do miss the days when journalism was about reporting facts and not about touting an opinion.
@dangillmor Already seeing pundits claim that Democrats need to reach across the aisle and compromise
You're funny, Dan
@dangillmor 'Why centrists Democrats should work with the GOP and Trump to defeat the Left' - think pieces will come over us. They're already writing them.
@dangillmor "Is winning elections a viable strategy for Democrats?"
Vibe midterms, obviously
Thinking about it, the election *was* bad for Democrats -- the corporate ones. Unfortunately, they are strong enough and craven enough to mostly keep control of the party.
We'll know how things will go when we see if there are genuine, loudly public investigations of all the Trump world corruption.
