@All_bonesJones are you a paying customer or is this the free tier?
@bronze paying, it helps a lot with developing my game
@All_bonesJones @bronze are your sprites all handdrawn or ai-assist? tehy look really good
@sun @bronze 100% hand-drawn, though i trace public domain resources liberally to get things done faster
example, my zombie bite animation was done by tracing over the teeth from these teeth graphics after rotating and editing them
https://opengameart.org/content/2d-monster-teeth
my title screen was also done by editing a public domain picture of someone and drawing bat wings and pointy ears on them and slapping a few filters on it
it is my sincere opinion that ai-generated pixel art looks like complete shit and is significantly worse than doing it myself and not even particularly faster, so i avoid it. if it was better i'd be more comfortable using it

@All_bonesJones @bronze ai pixel art is all pretty bad yeah, it doesn't understand it
@sun @All_bonesJones @bronze I don't think actual AI pixel art is possible with AI's current infrastructure due to the nature of diffusion. It can't even make solid colors because all it's doing is starting with TV static and squinting at it like it's a magic eye over and over again until it looks more or less how you ask it to. You'd have to take whatever it spits out, shrink it, and manually apply a palette to it, which isn't too far off of how pixel art was originally made.
