@Merc gimme a reason
@prettygood the left wants unchecked immigration and to kill people like Charlie Kirk
@Merc "I don't care" and "based" respectively
@prettygood @Merc as with all issues, I don't care if I don't have to pay for it, but I do so I care
@prettygood @Merc still a citizen, still federal taxes. literally just don't give them a single penny of welfare, subsidy, loan deductions or forgiveness and I don't give a shit anymore, come on in
@sun @prettygood @Merc
hey sun - this is a cool talking point from faggot rightoids that i'd encourage you to look into some more before going off about it
immigrants aren't the ones sucking up welfare in the us - even illegal immigrants pay into welfare a lot more than they take
overwhelmingly its us citizen whites that are on welfare, followed by us citizen blacks iirc.
the people immigrating to the us, despite the very emotionally stirring pictures of caravans etc, are generally well educated, capable, and motivated people.
moreover, the ones doing it legally often have to have a guarantor which must sign legally binding documents showing wealth & accepting that for the next decade after the immigrant's arrival, the guarantor will be responsible for the immigrant, & that they wont be able to get welfare etc

@mirq @prettygood @Merc sure buddy I lived through the 80s and 90s and saw the before-after. and I don't care if people that have lived here for a few generations use welfare, they deserve it usually get back off it when they get back on their feet. welfare includes all social services not just literally welfare, I have also lived on a border town with massive crossing and saw how that works.
@sun @prettygood @Merc
>I lived through the 80s and 90s and saw the before-after
yeah it got less white, oh no
>I don't care if people that have lived here for a few generations use welfare
so now its not just immigrants, its people who have family here for at least 2 generations?
maybe say what you really mean from the get-go, gaijin-san
> usually get back off it when they get back on their feet
this may be your anecdotal experience. mine is the opposite (and i worked in social work for a few years)
>I have also lived on a border town with massive crossing and saw how that works.
yeah i mean nobody's debating that the retard feds in charge of the border are shit at their jobs

@mirq @prettygood @Merc I'll say it again in a different way, I'm assuming it was my explanation not your reading comprehension sorry. I don't mind paying for people that have a history of living here, including multigenerational immigrants, but I don't want our policy to be import a ton of new people and immediately provide them with services. not just welfare which has all kinds of tests, but every variety of social service which has to be provided to everyone without means testing. of course plenty of americans use emergency care as their primary health care, it's a problem, but again why add more
@ageha @prettygood @mirq @Merc yeah I mean illegal immigrants using roads, as opposed to you know, emergency healthcare or something?
