The Florida gerrymander is backfiring. Lots of Dems winning seats they were supposed to lose.

@mastodonmigration I think they call that a dummymander.
Utah at one point also was so gerrymandered I think the courts forced a nonpartisan redraw that dummymandered Salt Lake City to be very competitive. No joke.
Yes. It can actually turn out worse.
@mastodonmigration @cameron_bosch Gerrymandering naturally gives GOP more seats, but on average they are all weaker majorities. Those weaker majorities are fine if you can your vote out. If you can't you lose a lot more.
