Emily's List also ignored the Nixon race. Which makes me feel some kind of way.
I'm so glad Nixon came so close because making Moody break a sweat is a good thing. It means she's touchable and Nixon absolutely touched her.
Nixon could have knocked her down if she'd had more support from the party. But oh well. They lost an opportunity.

I was having breakfast a few months ago with a bunch of very engaged high net worth Dem women. A Dem bundler asked me which races I was paying attention to.
Me: Angie Nixon. She's good.
Her: But she might end up in jail. Why put money there?
Me: [after a disbelieving pause] BECAUSE YOU WANT THE SEAT.
And she just kind of looked at me blankly.
