Okay, what idiot uses their WORK COMPUTER to do a job interview?! Wait, was this guy WORKING FOR A CRYPTO EXCHANGE?!?!

@ai6yr I work for an actual legit financial institution and I don’t have the privs to install software on my computer. But also things like wire transfers are reversible. Just saying.

Was it just a coincidence that the password that destroyed all trust on earth last week was the number of horseman of the apocalypse? I suspect we have driven all the holy and horrific horsemen and hounds of heaven and hell totally crazy seeing that they cannot match the insane vanities that we are inflicting upon each other, that they have been furloughed indefinitely for not keeping up with us and the Koreans in ability to inspire existential fears, and that they are now joining the orgy of depravity here. But we created them, and they will die with us, and Nature will resume control.

@ai6yr don't under estimate the number of people working for tech companies that don't have their own computer... or it's so old (they didn't upgrade) that they use the work one for everything but maybe gaming.
@hub @ai6yr I had a colleague get hot under the collar when I got an antivirus alert which pointed to a specific file in a specific location on his drive. He wasn’t happy I had information about the contents of his drive on his work computer. I said the antivirus tool wouldn’t be useful if it didn’t provide that info.
I eventually found out (from coworkers, not from snooping his drive) he was conducting a job search from his work computer.
Well they'll definitely be needing a new job now.
How would one go about answering the "Why did you leave your last position?" question in this situation.

@ai6yr North Koreans are very convenient culprits for the crypto lot. Can't be reached, seen or made accountable, but can be accused of anything. Even better than Russians.

@ai6yr I once overheard a colleague taking a job interview over the phone at his desk, in the middle of the day, in an open office, at the top of his lungs. He sat maybe 20 feet from the office of a V.P. who, like everyone else on the floor, could hear every word of his side of the conversation, and eventually came out and stared him down.
