@ai6yr I have children for all that stuff, and I get some conversation thrown in for good measure!
@ai6yr except fitted sheets. Just roll in a ball and forget about it
@ai6yr There's a lot more vacuums. I can only find 3 laundry folding robots.
Maybe "humanoid"? Then I'd interpret this as a very negative statement saying the humanoid robots are stuck folding laundry. Two of the three were humanoid but they weren't the one I'd consider.
Finally: NO! It stays in the pile or it gets the hose again. The hose and some soap.
@ai6yr I swear, half the proposed uses of personal robots boils down to “what if a robot was my mom when I was twelve”
@wordshaper @ai6yr
There is no room in the kitchen for a bologna-sandwich making robot and me because there is no way I am leaving a robot unsupervised with such an important task.
@wordshaper @ai6yr
And the other proposed uses of robots get very awkward if combined with the mom-bot 😲
@ai6yr
Folding laundry is for suckers (and people with functional muscles). I just throw everything into different piles on the shelves in my wardrobe 😏
@me_valentijn @ai6yr LOL if I could afford it I'd get one of Simone's chairs
@me_valentijn @ai6yr for me, anything bigger than a t-shirt is rolled up and flung into a basket or drawer like that
@giflian @me_valentijn I roll my t-shirts as well, none of this ridiculousness about folding.
@ai6yr @giflian @me_valentijn I am 100% for rolling my t-shirts.
@ai6yr @giflian @me_valentijn worked for a retail store, folding t-shirts is faster than any other laundry task.
At the store, we used boards to ensure they were perfect, at home it’s a quick flip. I do a faster version of #1 here (I fold the sleeves in while holding tee up by the shoulders, then fold to bottom hem), but an ex-coworker was really into #2 (crazy geometry)

@ai6yr @giflian @me_valentijn Was severely jet-lagged a few years ago, up at 4am, turned on the computer, saw Marie Kondo folding t-shirts...you can guess what happened next.

@giflian @me_valentijn (if it makes it off the chair I have been throwing laundry on lately 😂 )
@me_valentijn LOL okay, you've got an excuse to get a laundry folding robot.... if you wanted.
@ai6yr
... I like my piles 😐
@ai6yr I have never seen a robot that folds laundry. These are lies.
