One of the things that I've been really struggling with in my artistic journey is the piece about sharing things with the world.
I know I don't have to if I don't want to, but I want to. I'm just not sure what that looks like for me yet.
And how that's process relates to money.
Doesn't it always come back to money? Ha!
I'm resistant to put my artistic talents to work for money, despite the fact that I do, in fact, need to do something about making a living, finding an income stream.
@alisynthesis This is ultimately what I want, but I've found that I've really struggled in the winter to actually make it to the in person events I find in NH.
I struggle with driving after dark, especially during the rush hour timeframe when everyone is out.
@alisynthesis It's interesting because I also spend a fair amount of time in Maine, but go to lots of community events there because I'm better socially connected there and it's easier to get a friend to go with me and give me a ride.
@nikkiana I didn't know you were in NH, me too! I'm in Keene. When i lived in other parts of the state I had a really hard time finding people but it's been easier here.
@nikkiana Not sure where you live, but I have found it a lot more gratifying to focus my efforts on in-person music-making lately. If you're not already involved, my your region has some sort of group of artists that you could join up with?
