BTW, non-Americans who think everybody else should get a vote in our elections: I fucking get it, I really do, but no.
First of all, the real problem is that we as a country have too much power internationally. Thankfully, things are trending in the right direction these days, if for the most stressful reasons possible. We really do need to become Just Another Country.
Secondly, a lot of the problems with election results, are really the results of voter suppression and failures of education. You can't solve those problems with voter suppression (I've seen "Americans shouldn't get a vote") or making civic education irrelevant (local votes getting drowned out by international), those are doubling down on the problems that gave such visibly terrible outcomes in the first place.
Fundamentally, most of our "intractable" problems will become tractable when we're a less valuable population to manipulate and extract from. Which will hurt, but be a good thing long term.
The most immediately AND long-term valuable things you can do, to scratch the itch you're feeling, are the sovereignty stuff you're already investing in (and do that as much as possible). Go no-contact with our businesses. Narrow and ultimately cut trade ties. Make us economically irrelevant. Evict us from your infrastructure.
The one exception is, there is a huge brain drain of people who want to leave here, and it's smart to give them citizenship and jobs building your independent infrastructure. Some Ellis Island thinking (but in the reverse of the historical direction) is really strategic here.
And above all, be careful to guard yourselves from the unchecked neoliberal capitalism that made us the threat we are. It's no good if you just recreate the problem on different soil. The same jackasses who bought and sold my country will try to do the same to you. Just say no.
