@djsundog Far too many think they do no wrong. I think making choices based off of the position of a dot on the MQ is insane.
But vendors and WAY too many corporations are afraid to do anything but rely on Gartner.
@gedvondur @djsundog You're thinking about it the wrong way around. Gartner doesn't sell advice or insight, they sell absolution. They sell a thing that executives who want to escape responsibility can point to and say, well we made this decision that went very badly because we got this advice, it was a reasonable decision at the time. That's the real reason they get paid what they do.
