π109 years have passed since the Balfour Declaration, yet we are still paying the price for a promise that its authors had no right to make. Generations have been born under occupation, families displaced, homes destroyed, and children raised amid fear, war, and hunger
In Gaza, we are not just remembering history; we are living its consequences every single day. More than a century later, our people are still paying the price with their land, homes, children, and future. π΅πΈ

Without the Third Reich, and subsequently "our" Bundesrepublik Deutschland, the sick belief wouldn't exist that one could wash off Jewish blood from one's hands with Palestinian blood.
We've learned nothing, and refuse to learn, even in the face of another genocide.

I agree. The British Empire bears historical responsibility for setting events in motion through the Balfour Declaration. Palestinians have paid the price for that decision for generations, and we are still living with its devastating consequences today. Thank you for recognizing this injustice. β€οΈπ΅πΈ
@Rania @simon_brooke @apenkop the british empire is to blame for instigating this tragedy.
