I'm surprised even on Mastodon almost all searchable discussions of ADHD meds are negative posts, addiction-related, comparisons to meth, etc.
It's a shame people in general seem reluctant to talk about medications that help them. Anyways, I was only searching hashtags because I feel like it's a scam adderall gets prescribed more commonly than dexedrine and wanted to see if anyone else agreed 😂

Also, I haven't seen anybody talking about getting addicted to dexies - the most common comment I see is "aah yes, the highly addictive drug I keep forgetting to take in the morning"

And yeah I mean the posts I was referring to were fearmongering-type posts from people who *don't* take it but have opinions on it lol

Lmao, if they're worried about getting hooked I'm actually fine with them not taking any of it. Is somebody forcing them to take it?
Maybe they can donate it to a shelter or a school or a free clinic or something? Seems like a win/win.

Searching for adderall or related terms on mastodon.social, it's mostly people like this, not a lot of people who actually are prescribed it lol
@jonah Ritalin(or Methylphenidate) really helps me a lot though.
