I solved the very same problem with a one-time purchase of a hundred or so dollars: a set of Boba 4U silent tactile switches for my mechanical keyboard.
They feel amazing, they're silent, there's no subscription, and the keyboard types exactly what I type into it.
That's how I talk to my computer.
@algernon at least it seems to not be slop? It's a solution in search of a problem, sure, but it also seems real at least
