If pkg_add and pkg_info are slow on OpenBSD, try to change to a different mirror in /etc/installurl. Mine was set to the closest one geographically (here in Sweden), but it was unbearably slow (perhaps because it's FTP over HTTPS?). I set it to the one in Copenhagen and now everything's instant.

@thomholwerda There is also the matter that geographically-closest doesn't necessarily mean "has a decent route from your ISP's network", though I had that pegged as more of a Germany problem
